Huntington Beach’s City-operated Sunset Vista RV park has been a popular camping spot with the RV community. Weekends are completely booked through May 31, 2009. The camping season ends that weekend as the parking lot at Huntington City Beach south of the HB Pier converts back to parking space for beach car parking. Equiped with electricity and dump station, the prime location overlooking the Huntington Beach Pier has continued to gain popularity year after year. Opened in the fall through spring, the prices are a bit higher than Bolsa Chica State Beach, a state-operated facility in Huntington Beach. The advantage to Sunset Vista is the Main Street and Pier-close location.
