Surf City (HB) Police are seeking information and eyewitnesses to a stabbing of a 21-year-old man in critical condition who was jumped
and stabbed on Sunday, March 15 in Downtown Huntington Beach, according to Huntington Beach Police. Confronted after leaving Crabby’s as they waited to be picked up by a friend, a group of four guys were confronted and challenged by several men with shaved heads. Waiting for a ride in front of IHOP on the second block of Main Street, they ran from the attackers. Going past the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum on Olive and 5th Street, the made it one more block before the attackers caught up and pulled out a knife, the group said. One of the young men fleeing was stabbed in the upper body, according to a police official. The
suspects then ran away and the victim’s friends
called 911, according to reports.
Huntington Beach Police are looking for
anyone who may have seen the suspects near the IHOP possible taunting
other people late Saturday or early Sunday.
